It looks like the Chevrolet Volt is going to be a star outside the automotive industry. Chevrolet recently announced that the 2016 Volt model is making its movie debut in Disney’s new film Tomorrowland. The film takes place in the present day and Tomorrowland, where anything can happen.
“Tomorrowland is a place where nothing is impossible, which is something that Chevrolet believes can exist in the here and now,” said Tim Mahoney, vice president of Global Chevrolet. “The Chevrolet spirit reflects the hopes and possibilities of tomorrow in real instruments of change for today like the next-generation Chevrolet Volt.”
This isn’t the first time Chevrolet and Disney have teamed up, though. The two powerhouses also offered an in-depth look into the automotive design process with the Test Track ride at Epcot, highlighting what goes into creating an innovative vehicle like the Chevrolet Volt.
Marketing for the Tomorrowland film and the Chevrolet Volt will debut in May, while the film will make its debut on May 22 in the United States. Check back with Stalker Chevrolet then for more information about the Chevrolet Volt movie debut!
