Every city in the United States has a multitude of hidden gems, just waiting to be mined. Whether it’s a cooking class or a bar that resembles a 1920s speakeasy, these little-known venues and activities are just waiting to be discovered.
For those of you looking for an urban adventure, but need the perfect car to do so, look no further than the Chevrolet Trax. As the optimal car for urban exploring, the Trax combines space and compact agility to be exactly what any urban dweller needs. To highlight this, the American carmaker has recently released the all-new Chevrolet Trax Hidden Gems marketing campaign, which shows just how the Trax can help you discover new things.
“Trax is the perfect small SUV for urban discovery,” said Steve Majoros, Chevrolet director of marketing for cars and crossovers. “With its car-like maneuverability and SUV capability, in addition to OnStar 4G LTE with a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, Trax gives you the tools to discover and share what the city has to offer.”
The campaign uses twenty social media influencers in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles to help find venues and activities that the public might not find otherwise with the help of the Trax. These influencers’ itineraries will culminate in three long-form videos that show the secret hideouts in Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago.

During the Chicago Auto Show, Chevrolet brought out all the stops for its pickup truck lineup, showcasing three special editions—the Colorado GearOn, the Silverado Midnight, and the Silverado Custom—that show off the brand’s versatile trucks. Now, the American carmaker has yet another truck accessories package to offer us and we have to say—it might be the best yet.
For an additional $1,595 to the Silverado WT’s starting price tag of $28,895, the Chevrolet Silverado Black Out Package adds an intimidation factor to the already intimidating pickup truck. Simple upgrades like 20-inch, five-spoke black wheels, deep tinted glass, and an all-black exterior color creates a menacing, yet sophisticated silhouette that is enhanced by black bowtie badging. Add the Silverado WT’s already class-leading capabilities and the package makes the popular pickup truck a top-notch choice for any truck lover.

Every once in awhile, there is a new, innovative concept car that will change the face of the industry. This year, that concept car is the Chevrolet Bolt. Now, Chevrolet has announced that it will be moving forward with Bolt electric vehicle production, confirming that the industry is about to get a bit of a shock to its system.
“The message from consumers about the Bolt EV Concept was clear and unequivocal: Build it,” said Alan Batey, GM North America President. “We are moving quickly because of its potential to completely shake up the status quo for electric vehicles.”
The Bolt all-electric vehicle, which debuted earlier this year at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, has been set for sale in all 50 states, unlike Chevy’s previous electric vehicles. It will offer a GM-estimated 200-mile range with an unspecified powertrain, all for a value-oriented price of $30,000. This combination of range and value are sure to turn heads even more than the Bolt’s futuristic design, making it one of the most appealing EVs in the world before it even rolls off the assembly line.

Chevrolet sure knows how to celebrate. The American carmaker recently announced that the Equinox SUV posted its best January sales ever and it looks like Chevy is going to celebrate with the 2016 Chevy Equinox debut. The debut, which took place last week at the Chicago Auto Show, unveiled a new face for the model, highlighting why the Equinox is Chevrolet’s second best-selling vehicle in the U.S.
“Chevrolet Equinox is a pillar of the compact SUV segment, thanks to a value rooted in great style, efficiency, safety, and connectivity,” said Alan Batey, president of GM North America. “Enhancements to the 2015 Equinox make a versatile vehicle an even better choice, and demonstrate Chevrolet’s commitment to delivering the broadest lineup of SUVs in the industry.”
A new design features a more sophisticated front end, new wheels, and a revised lineup of trim levels, which offer a variety of new features. A larger touchscreen is also included, along with a standard rear-view mirror.
With a combination of value and handsome styling, the Equinox has made a lasting impression on consumers everywhere. Stop in to Stalker Chevrolet today to see why the Equinox is just the vehicle you need!
Chevrolet just proved that shock value is one of the best ways to be remembered. Before the kickoff of Super Bowl XLIX on NBC, Chevrolet made 100 million football fans scramble when the American carmakers advertisement for the Chevrolet Colorado made them believe their TVs had failed—only to show viewers that it was merely a commercial for the Chevrolet Colorado.
Called “Blackout,” for good reason, the Chevy Colorado Super Bowl commercial appeared to be a live game feed that transitioned into static, then a blank screen, mere minutes before the big game was set to start. It then transitioned into sharing that the Colorado has 4G LTE WiFi, making it the perfect pickup truck for a time like this.
With this jaw-dropping commercial, Chevrolet proved that you don’t necessarily need an advertisement during the Super Bowl to make a lasting impression. When it comes to safety, Chevrolet knows what it is talking about. The American carmaker recently became the lineup with the most 5-Star safety rated models in the United States, thanks to the brand-new 2015 Chevrolet Trax. The 2015 Chevrolet Trax safety rating just received a 5-star Overall Vehicle Score for safety from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, helping the brand prove that safety is its top priority.
“The Trax is the perfect example of Chevrolet’s commitment to putting state of the art technology and class-leading safety features where it matters most for the customer,” said Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president for Chevrolet.
The body structure of the Trax is composed of 66 percent high-strength steel, helping create a protective cage around the passenger compartment. It comes standard with 10 air bags and a rearview camera, while rear park assist is available.

Since the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado reentered the midsize pickup truck segment, it has been raking in awards left and right. Now, the midsize truck has added yet another trophy to its shelf—the Cars.com Best Pickup award.
“The impressive, all-new 2015 Colorado jumpstarts a category of trucks that was quickly fading away,” said Mark Williams, Cars.com pickup truck editor. “Midsize pickup trucks have long been a favorite of both Cars.com experts and truck shoppers, so we’re thrilled to see them come back to life starting with the new Colorado.”
With a starting price of $20,995, including destination charges, the Colorado is available with either a four-door extended- or crew-cab, depending on the space you need. As the best pickup according to Cars.com, it comes as no surprise that this truck also offers the best combination of horsepower and EPA-estimated fuel efficiency in its class.
With its standard 2.5-liter I-4 engine, the Colorado generates a robust 200 horsepower and 27 mpg highway. The Colorado’s available 3.6-liter V6 engine churns out 305 horsepower with an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 26 mpg highway.

After releasing multiple teaser images and videos—not to mention giving the public a 30-second sneak peek—Chevrolet has finally introduced the newest Chevrolet Volt. The 2016 Chevrolet Volt debut took place last week at the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) and introduced the industry to a better looking, better performing plug-in hybrid.
“The 2016 Chevrolet Volt provides our owners with a no-compromise electric driving experience,” said Alan Batey, president of GM North America. “We believe our engineering prowess combined with data from thousands of customers allows us to deliver the most capable plug-in vehicle in the industry.”
And capable, the newest Chevrolet Volt definitely is. The two-motor drive unit is 12% more efficient than its predecessor, while also being 100 pounds lighter. The 1.5-liter range extender engine has an EPA-rated fuel economy of 41 mpg by itself. The new five-passenger seating offers more room than ever before, while the quieter ride makes the cabin more comfortable.
The 2016 Chevrolet Volt goes on sale in the second half of 2015. Until then, stop in to Stalker Chevrolet to see what other vehicles our brand has to offer!
